BCN3730 Construction Safety Management

The emphasis of this course is construction safety, requirements and procedures associated with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Students will learn how to effectively manage safety including planning, inspections, prevention and the administration of safety processes on the job site. In addition, the students will be responsible for creating a construction safety plan. Other topics addressed include contractor safety management, dealing with language barriers, and understanding modern risk management techniques. Course must be completed with a grade of "C" or higher.
