Business and Information Management Bachelor of Science

The Bachelor of Science in Business and Information Management (B.S.B.I.M.) degree is designed for students interested in making business organizations more efficient and effective through entrepreneurship and the use of business skills, including applying technology.

The Business and Information Management Bachelor of Science is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Founded in 1988, ACBSP is a global business education accrediting body and the first organization to offer accreditation to all levels of collegiate business educational degree programs from associate to doctoral.

 ACBSP ignites a standard of excellence with an accreditation process based on the Baldrige Education Criteria for Performance Excellence. By evaluating aspects of leadership, strategic planning, relationships with stakeholders, quality of academic programs, faculty credentials, and educational support, ACBSP assesses whether or not business programs offer a rigorous educational experience and commitment to continuous quality improvement.

Based on the most current Program Review data provided by IER, the graduation ratio for students enrolled in the B.S.B.I.M program is 16%.

Employment Rate

Data from the Florida College System 2018-19 Bachelor's Degree Completers shows that 85% of B.S.B.I.M graduates are employed, while 80% are employed full-time with an average salary of $48,756.

The National Student Clearinghouse reports that B.S.B.I.M graduates have successfully completed graduate degrees at a variety of institutions across the country.
