Seminole State College’s Center for Fine & Performing Arts offers theatre productions to be enjoyed by students, faculty, staff and the community.
The Center for Fine and Performing Arts will offer free admission to most of our productions this theatre season. Due to each performance, please check our Facebook page or Instagram before each event begins.

Freedom Project: Florida Black History
Presented by the Center for Fine and Performing Arts at Seminole State College in partnership with Florida Theatrical Association

Join us for a powerful series of performances amplifying historical truths. Through spoken word, song, and storytelling The Florida Theatrical Association presents FREEDOM PROJECT which explores pivotal moments and figures in Florida's Black history - from Augusta Savage and Zora Neale Hurston to civil rights activist Eula Johnson. These moving pieces offer a space for reflection, education, and celebration of resilience and identity.

This play takes place in New York City in the 1990's. A hilarious and witty, and heartwarming comedy about a couple and their love for their dog.
