Seminole State College has partnered with Virtual Care Group to provide a free telehealth program to students enrolled in Fall Term 2021. This program provides you with access to U.S. Board Certified and State Licensed health providers to provide convenient care for non-emergency medical issues such as allergies, cold and flu, sinus problems and ear infections. No health insurance is needed, and no deductible is required.
You will have unlimited 24/7 access 365 days a year to a licensed physician using a mobile app, a web portal or the call center. In addition, providers speak over 250 languages including English, Spanish and Cantonese.
This service is for currently enrolled Seminole State students only and not their family members or dependents.
Please note that services begin on Aug. 1, 2021. Students who register prior to this date will have access to the services on that date. In the month of August, information will be shared with Virtual Care Group on a weekly basis, and beginning in September, the information will be shared with them around the 15th of each month.
For example, if a student completes the registration form on Sept. 10, their information will be shared, and they can register by Sept. 16. If a student completes the registration form on Sept. 17, their information will not be shared until Oct. 15.
- Complete the registration form by including your name, student ID#, email address and birthdate.
- Once your enrollment status is verified, your request will be approved and forwarded to Virtual Care Group.
- You will receive an email indicating the status of your registration.
Once your information is provided to Virtual Care Group, you will receive an email requesting you to register for their services at the Seminole State portal.
Add you last name, your date of birth and the ZIP code on the website to register.
You will create a specific login and password for this service.
