STAR Center
The Student Transition and Achievement Resources (STAR) Center at Seminole State College helps certificate and Associate in Science (A.S.) degree-seeking students develop the academic skills they need to succeed in college and in their careers.
With the STAR Center, students can:
- Develop their test-taking, time management, note-taking, and study skills.
- Prepare their basic academic skills needed to enter specific career certificate and college credit certificate programs.
- Utilize a range of learning resources to achieve success in Seminole State's A.S. and Career certificate programs.
- Access a variety of nursing exam study guides (TEAS, NCLEX, Dosage Calculations)
Assessment Preparation Resources
- Mometrix eLibrary: This database contains study materials for a variety of assessments.
- TEAS:Select the Mometrix eLibrary link, select Nursing, and then select ATI TEAS 7.
- FCLE: Select the Mometrix eLibrary link, select K-12, and then select Florida Civic Literacy Exam.
- PERT: Select the Mometrix eLibrary link, select College Admissions and Placement, and then select PERT.
