Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) Grant
Paying for childcare can be very expensive. According to a report by the Economic Policy Institute, the average cost of full-time daycare for infants is over $13,021 per year. For students living below the poverty level, several resources are available to help reduce these costs.
The Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) Grant is a federally funded program designed to support student-parents in achieving their educational goals by providing access to affordable, quality childcare.
Through a partnership with the Early Learning Coalition of Seminole (ELC of Seminole), the CCAMPIS Grant helps eligible college students obtain childcare vouchers that reduce the cost of care at approved early learning centers. This support allows student-parents to focus on their studies while ensuring their children receive nurturing, educational care in a safe environment.
