President Search Finalists
On March 21 and 22, 2018, the president search committee met on the Heathrow Campus and interviewed each of the eight semifinalists seeking the position of President of Seminole State College. As a result of these interviews, the committee recommended three finalists to forward to the College’s Board of Trustees for consideration.
The finalists (in alphabetical order) are as follows:
- Dr. Edward Bonahue
Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, Santa Fe College (Florida) - Dr. Todd Holcomb
President, Western Nebraska Community College - Dr. Georgia Lorenz
Vice President of Academic Affairs, Santa Monica College (California)
Finalists will take part in two days of on-campus interviews at the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus on April 9 and 10. On April 9, faculty, staff, students, alumni and Foundation Board members will have the opportunity to interact with each of the candidates during scheduled constituent meetings. Community members are invited to meet the candidates at an evening social event on April 9 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Partnership Center (building UP) on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus. Finalists will be interviewed by the College’s Board of Trustees on April 10.
