Policy

  1. It is the policy of the Board of Trustees that the College shall provide a safe environment for all faculty, staff, students, volunteers, community members, and other guests at College locations, events, or functions. Child abuse, abandonment, or neglect committed on the property of the College or during an event or function sponsored by the College shall not be condoned or tolerated.
  2. College administrators are required to report any known or suspected information from faculty, staff, or other institution employees regarding known or suspected child abuse, abandonment, or neglect committed on the property of the College or during an event or function sponsored by the College. Furthermore, College administrators are prohibited from knowingly or willfully preventing another person from making such a report.
  3. The President shall establish procedures to implement this policy.
