The Wharton-Smith Center for Construction, part of Seminole State's School of Construction, Design, Engineering and Information Technologies, offers programs grounded in academic course work, site visits and practical application of industry principles.

The Center offers a comprehensive approach to meeting the needs of Central Florida's construction industry, including apprenticeship programs, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Construction, two-year Associate in Science (A.S.) degree in Construction, a Building Construction Technology College Credit Certificate, and a Construction pathway Associate of Arts.
