TPP2424 Devised Theatre in Performance

An applied theatre course to explore the process of theatre creation in a collaborative manner. The ensemble will create a theatrical piece, original or adapted, with the artists working as a collective. Students will interact with a variety of pedagogies in ensemble theatre making, including adaptation and found text, improvisation and the Viewpoints compositional framework. Students will study earlier works of devised theater.

Prerequisite: THE 1304.
