This introductory course is designed for students with no prior experience in Autodesk Civil 3D. Students will learn the fundamental tools and workflows used in civil engineering and land development design. Topics include creating and managing survey data, points, linework, surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, grading, and pipe networks. Emphasis is placed on practical, hands-on exercises that develop core design and documentation skills using the Civil 3D interface. By the end of the course, students will be able to produce basic civil design models and generate construction documentation for real-world infrastructure projects.
Prerequisite: ETD 1340C completed with a grade of C or higher.
