Join us for the planting and dedication of a Gateway Elm as an honorary "Liberty Tree" to commemorate the legacy of the American Revolution.

Tour Independence Hall

When:  June 5, 2026
Where:  Emil Buehler Planetarium, Sanford/Lake Mary Campus

Experience an immersive walkthrough of Independence Hall in Philadelphia where the signing of the Declaration of Independence took place.

250 years of Space Exploration

When: July 18, 2026
Where: Emil Buehler Planetarium, Sanford/Lake Mary Campus

This program will explore the many astronomical and space innovations and discoveries achieved in the 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. These include famous astronomers and their discoveries, the development of the space program, landing on the moon, and what lies in the future.
