The Seminole State AFC Chapter creates opportunities for faculty and staff at Seminole State College of Florida to grow professionally, to cultivate a sense of collective purpose, and to seed a culture of service to its community.  Throughout the year the Seminole State AFC hosts a wide variety of political awareness events, professional development workshops, community service projects, and social gatherings.

Seminole State AFC Chapter focused it professional development sessions this spring on improving physical, mental and emotional wellness. Events throughout the term included our De-Stress Sesh with Friends & Pets, the March Weekend of Movement,  Unplug & Recharge with Yoga & Meditation, and Staying Sane While Navigating Change .

To celebrate National Comic Book Day, Seminole State's AFC Chapter asked its members to share the amazing, super-heroic feats of their colleagues. Suffice it to say, there were many heroes among us!

Members connected after the annual Convocation to share their interests (comic books or otherwise!) and to recognize all our campus heroes.
