Dual Enrollment Program
Students and families interested in the Dual Enrollment program are encouraged to visit the Dual Enrollment website to explore program features, course offerings, eligibility requirements, deadlines, and enrollment steps.
School Partnerships
Seminole State College of Florida is proud to partner with Seminole County Public Schools, Florida Virtual School, and participating private schools through articulation agreements that provide a pathway to college success. Through these agreements, students benefit in three keyways:
- Tuition Free - Students earn college credit while still in high school as tuition, registration, and other appliable fees are covered under the dual enrollment agreement.
- Get Ahead Faster - Dual enrollment coursework counts toward both high school graduation requirements and college degree programs at the same time.
- Built In Support - Students gain access to academic advising and disability support services to help students stay on track toward their academic goals.
Private Schools - Dual Enrollment Program Participation Interest
The Accelerated Learning and Articulation office can assist with articulation agreements needed for private school program participation. The Dual Enrollment agreement that Seminole State College of Florida utilizes for private schools pertains to schools and students that are located in Seminole or Orange counties. To initiate a dual enrollment agreement for those students, fill out the Dual Enrollment Interest Form. For any other information regarding Dual Enrollment, please visit the Dual Enrollment website.
Internal Articulation Agreements for College Staff
College faculty and staff can further support students with the creation of internal articulation agreements between partner institutions and/or external constituents. The Course and Curriculum Development office serves as a resource to Seminole State College academic units for the development and establishment of these agreements.
For those interested in creating an internal articulation agreement, contact the Accelerated Learning & Articulation Team.
