Spring 2013 Graduation Ceremony

Graduation is an exciting time for the Seminole State community, and we're proud to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of our students. The Commencement Ceremony is held each fall and spring.

Seminole State's graduation ceremony will be held at the UCF Arena on the University of Central Florida (UCF) Main Campus in Orlando. Graduates will receive the following benefits:

All graduates must plan to arrive at the UCF Arena at least 90 minutes before the processional begins. Faculty and staff will direct graduates to enter through the side entrance of the arena to wait before the ceremony.

RSVP Information

All Spring Term graduates will receive a graduation invitation via their Live Mail accounts, and a hard copy will be sent to their mailing addresses.

Students who wish to participate in Seminole State's graduation ceremony must complete an RSVP form and submit it in one of the following ways:

  • By Mail: Seminole State College of Florida, Certifications Office (UP-1102A), 100 Weldon Blvd., Sanford, FL 32773
  • In Person: Visit Student Services on any campus.
  • Via Email: graduation@seminolestate.edu
  • Via Fax: 407.708.2029

The RSVP deadline for the Spring 2013 graduation ceremony is Friday, April 5. No late RSVP forms will be accepted.

Tickets

Graduates will receive 10 or more tickets for the graduation ceremony. Tickets can be obtained with a photo ID in Student Services (building A) on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus during the following dates and times:

  • April 22-25: 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
  • April 26: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Tickets are required for all guests, including children and infants. Please ensure that each guest has a ticket.

Accommodations

Graduation candidates who require assistance accessing the stage or need a sign language interpreter must contact the Office of Disability Support Services at 407.708.2505. College staff will direct guests who require special accommodations to the accessible-seating section of the UCF Arena.
