Graduation is an exciting time for the Seminole State community, and we're proud to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of our students. The Commencement Ceremony is held each fall and spring. Summer graduates will get an invitation to participate in the fall commencement, held in December.
Seminole State's graduation ceremony will be held at the CFE Arena (formerly UCF Arena) on the University of Central Florida (UCF) Main Campus in Orlando. Graduates will receive the following benefits:
All graduates must plan to arrive at the CFE Arena at least 90 minutes before the processional begins. Faculty and staff will direct graduates to enter through the side entrance of the arena to wait before the ceremony.
All Summer and Fall Term graduates will receive a graduation invitation via their student email (Office 365) accounts. Students who wish to participate in Seminole State’s graduation ceremony must complete an RSVP and Regalia form.
Graduates will receive up to 10 tickets for the graduation ceremony. Tickets will be distributed at the campus of your selection with your photo ID at the Student Success Specialist area from Dec. 1 - 5.
You will receive your tickets, Reader Card for commencement, and a voucher to pick up your regalia. If you want additional tickets or missed the pick-up dates, send a request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tickets are required for all guests, including children and infants. Please ensure that each guest has a ticket.
You will receive an email the week of graduation with more information about additional tickets.
Graduation candidates who require assistance accessing the stage or need a sign language interpreter must contact the Office of Disability Support Services at 407.708.2505. College staff will direct guests who require special accommodations to the accessible-seating section of the CFE Arena.
