Letter from The Campaign Chairs

Greetings fellow SCC faculty and staff members!

Together, we create a strong educational community. We are Seminole State College.

We are pleased to announce the official kickoff of the annual Blue & Gold Circle campaign! This is the third year of the Blue & Gold Circle, and our vision of a fundraising campaign for Seminole State, led and driven by faculty and staff, has been realized. The campaign focuses on what makes Seminole State so special - its faculty and staff. Regardless of the campus where we work, the job that we do or the division we are in, it takes each of us to fulfill Seminole State's mission. We are Seminole State College.

As employees of the College, we hope to build on the success of last year's campaign. Membership in the Blue & Gold Circle reaffirms our commitment to the Seminole State community, to education and to the goal we work to fulfill each day, playing a role in the success of Seminole State students. We are Seminole State College.

Recent state and local budget cuts have had a dramatic impact. However, Seminole State remains committed to providing access and maintaining excellence for its students, faculty and staff. Our participation has a huge effect: It demonstrates our support to corporations, foundations and those in our local community who will follow our lead and want to invest in the College. Now more than ever, our gifts to the College are needed. We are Seminole State College.

As volunteers for the faculty and staff campaign, we invite you to join the Blue & Gold Circle by making a gift to the College and helping us to achieve our goal. A personalized pledge card is attached so you can join our efforts. Please use this card to make a direct gift via check or credit card or establish a payroll deduction. Either way, simply return the pledge card provided through campus mail.
