New Student Orientation

Once you have been accepted and have your MySeminoleState account, your next step is to take the New Student Orientation.

Seminole State College gives you the flexibility to take classes when and where you want – day, night or weekend at any of our four convenient campuses, or online.

All our campuses have their own flavor and specialty programs. However, each campus offers a full array of student support services, including counseling and advising, a library, free academic tutoring, computer labs, career development and student activities.

Altamonte Springs Campus Altamonte Springs Campus
The Altamonte Springs Campus opened in 2008 and serves one of the most populated areas of Central Florida. The campus houses all of Seminole State's healthcare programs, as well as state-of-the-art health labs, and technology-enhanced classrooms equipped with the latest wireless network access. The College recently announced a major expansion at the campus, nearly tripling its size.
Heathrow Center Heathrow Campus
The Center for Economic Development at Heathrow, which opened in 2007, positions Seminole State firmly along the Interstate 4 high-tech corridor. In addition to offering state-of-the-art classrooms and labs for the School of Engineering, Design and Construction, the campus also offers many core courses and has an innovative economic development suite.
Oviedo Campus Oviedo Campus
The Oviedo Campus, which opened in 2001, is nestled among 185 acres, 120 of which are preserved natural woodlands and wetlands. The campus offers academic programs, including arts, science, math, technology, English, foreign language and adult education. The campus is also one of two locations for the Grindle Honors Institute.
Sanford/Lake Mary Campus Sanford/Lake Mary Campus
Established in 1966, the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus resides on 200 acres, bordered by Sanford to the north and Lake Mary to the west. The campus is home of the Wayne M. Densch Partnership Center, the Center for Public Safety, the CFADA Professional Automotive Training Center, the Fine Arts Theatre, the Weldon administration building, Raider athletics and one of two locations for the Grindle Honors Institute.
