About The Seminole State Way

The Seminole State Way is a collegewide initiative to promote civility on our campuses, in our community and around the world. The initiative officially launched in August 2014.

The initiative aims to support civility in a number of ways:

  • Marketing campaign: A collegewide marketing campaign will help increase and promote civil behavior among members of the campus community. This includes: T-shirts, messages on the College's digital signage (marquee and TV) and on the official website and social media.
  • Events and workshops: A number of collaborative program initiatives have been developed to increase awareness and create a culture that promotes integrity, respect, diversity and inclusion at the College. This includes: events and workshops for students.
  • Other activities: The program will include civility book clubs and discussions, library displays and many other activities.
