Transfer Student Testing
If you are a transfer student entering a college-credit program, you are required to take the ACT, SAT, ACCUPLACER or PERT exam.
Your test scores will be used to:
- Meet state testing requirements.
- Determine if you are eligible to enroll in certain academic courses. (Florida law and general college practice require students to achieve minimum test scores before registering for some classes.)
Your scores do not affect your:
- Admission to Seminole State
- Selection of a major
- Ability to transfer to a four-year college or university after completing your degree at Seminole State
If you have additional questions about your test scores and their effect on your course selection, please inquire with a College counselor during your initial advisement appointment.
