Mon. Jan. 9 Welcome Week: SGA Day. The key to college success is extracurricular activities. Come join your Student Government Association (SGA) as they celebrate the start of the Fall semester and introduce you to resources and departments available on campus. Noon-2 p.m. UP Breezeway
Tue. Jan. 10 Welcome Week: Get a Slice of Community Service Fair. The key to college success is community service. Come and find out what opportunities are available so you can give back to your community. Noon-2 p.m. UP Breezeway
Wed. Jan. 11 Welcome Back Bash: Resource Fair. The key to college success is extracurricular activities. Come join your Campus Activities Chair as they celebrate the start of the Fall semester and introduce you to resources and departments available on campus. Noon-2 p.m. Student Center green
Thu. Jan. 12 Welcome Week: Get the Scoop on Student Life. The key to college success is academics, community service, and extracurricular activities. Come join Student Life as they celebrate the start of the Fall semester and introduce you to resources available in Student Life. Noon-2 p.m. UP Breezeway
Wed. Jan. 18 Mentalist Jonny Zavant. Join us and be amazed as mentalist Jonny Zavant takes you in a journey to uncover the power of your mind.  12:30 p.m. Student Center Cafeteria
Wed. Jan. 25 Club Fair - Hosted by SGA. The key to college success is academics, community service, and extracurricular activities. Come talk to various student clubs and organizations available to you and take this as an opportunity to get involved! Noon-2 p.m. Student Center Green
Mon. Feb. 6 Black History Month Event: Sankofa African American Museum Exhibit. Join us and take part in this fantastic educational and cultural experience. 11 a.m.- 5p.m. Student Center
Thu. Feb. 16 Movie Screening Black History Month Event: Movie Screening of “42” The story of Jackie Robinson. In 1946, Jackie Robinson is a Negro League baseball player who never takes racism lying down. Branch Rickey is a Major League team executive with a bold idea. To that end, Rickey recruits Robinson to break the unspoken color line as the first modern African American Major League player. As both anticipate, this proves a major challenge for Robinson and his family as they endure unrelenting racist hostility on and off the field, from player and fan alike. As Jackie struggles against his nature to endure such abuse without complaint, he finds allies and hope where he least expects it. 5 p.m. C-110
Mon. Feb. 21 Black History Month Event: Movie Screening of "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom". An inspirational rendition of the chronicle of Nelson Mandela's life journey from his childhood in a rural village through to his inauguration as the first democratically elected president of South Africa. 6 p.m. C-110
Tue. Feb. 22 Black History Month Event. A continuation of the celebration of Black History Month. This key event is designed to get you engaged and talking about important issues facing the black community and the celebration of diversity. Noon- 2 p.m. Theatre Room G-118
Wed. Mar. 1 Safe Spring Break Event. Join your Campus Activities Team and local community resources as they promote safe Spring Break practices and bring an awareness on the effects of alcohol. 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Student Center Green and Automotive Showroom
