Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) is the collegiate division of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), the largest and oldest international student business organization in the world. This organization prepares students for careers in business. PBL is designed to develop leadership, communication and team-building skills for personal and professional growth. Membership is open to all students regardless of their major.
Our mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.
Seminole State students can choose to compete in many business and computer events that can give them a competitive edge in the workplace.
Seminole State students have earned hundreds of awards in various competitive events on the district, state and national levels. Members have contributed to many community projects, such as Habitat for Humanity, March of Dimes, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society and the Seminole County Animal Shelter.
Members are recognized during their graduation ceremony at the College and have Phi Beta Lambda printed on their diplomas and transcripts.
The club holds meetings to network, build leadership skills and discuss opportunities to volunteer in the community.
