Wed. Jan. 11 Welcome Week: Get the Scoop on Student Life. The key to college success is academics, community service, and extracurricular activities. Come join Student Life as they celebrate the start of the Fall semester and introduce you to resources available in Student Life. Noon-2 p.m. Outside Grassy Area
Tue. Jan. 12 Welcome Week: SGA Day. The key to college success is extracurricular activities. Come join your Student Government Association (SGA) as they celebrate the start of the Fall semester and introduce you to resources and departments available on campus.

Thu. Jan. 24 Club Fair - Hosted by SGA. The key to college success is academics, community service, and extracurricular activities. Come talk to various student clubs and organizations available to you and take this as an opportunity to get involved! Noon-2 p.m. Outside Grassy Area

SGA, Donuts with the Deans. The event is to help students speak with Deans from Seminole State College and dispel the notion that you can only see a Dean when a student have an issue. This event would make it easier for a student to approach a Dean with an issue they have as they are not located ON ALL CAMPUSES.

Tue. Feb. 14 Cupid’s Day. A celebration of Valentine’s Day. This key event is designed to get you engaged and talking about the importance of the different types of love that exist and the history of Saint Valentine. Noon-2 p.m. Outside Grassy Area
Tue. Feb. 21 Black History Month Event: The Harlem Renaissance, Sponsored by SGA. The Harlem Renaissance event will consist of items reprinting clothing, music, art, and poetry from the era of (1917-1935). Student Life will have information on the Apollo Theater, speak on excerpts from a play during that era, read aloud from a novel or book of poetry by a famed writer of the era, like Langston Hughes; or sing a jazzy tune a la Billie Holiday (These could also be originals by the Lucidity Poetry club, Unity of Arts (Dance Club), and Seminole State College students. The Harlem Renaissance (1917-1935) was a huge turning point in African American culture. There was an explosion of art, music and literature in Harlem, New York. Creative African Americans came from all over to participate in the environment of free expression and to assert their political views and exercise their civil rights. Noon-2 p.m. Outside Grassy Area

Tue. Feb. 28 Safe Spring Break Event. Join your Campus Activities Chair as they promote safe Spring Break practices and bring an awareness on the effects of alcohol, smoking, and sexual assault.   5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Outside Grassy Area
Tue. Mar. 14 SGA, Academic Town Hall/Panel. Join your SGA Academic Support Chair in an event designed to keep you engaged and entertained on campus. Town hall - Find all the recourses you need to be a star student and plan for your academic future. Noon-2 p.m. TBA

Tue. Apr. 11 SGA, Final Chat. Come join your Diversity Chair in an event designed to keep you engaged and entertained on campus. Connect during a final discussion about if unity was effectively increased by SGA. 3p.m. - 4:30 p.m. TBA
Tue. Apr. 18 Earth Day Celebration. Come celebrate Planet Earth at this interactive event with green friendly takeaways and community resources. Noon-2 p.m. Outside Grassy Area
Tue. Apr. 25 Chill Out For Finals. Come relax during finals week with FREE licensed massage chair therapists and more. Noon-2 p.m. Outside Grassy Area
