Dr. Anne M. Matthew has been a part of the Seminole State College team for two and one half years. She began as an adjunct, moved into a temporary full time professor position and now is a permanent tenure-track Professor of Office Administration.
Anne possesses a Doctor of Education Degree in Instructional Leadership along with two Master’s degrees; one in Multimedia Technologies and the other Business Education. Offering nearly 20 years of diverse experience, Anne has worked with various community and technical colleges across Pennsylvania and Florida before joining the Seminole State College team, including Pittsburgh Technical Institute and Valencia College. Dr. Matthew has taught courses, both online and instructor-led, in the areas of Office Technologies, Visual Arts, Business Communication, and Education.
Dr. Matthew is the lead adviser for the Phi Beta Lambda Club (PBL) at Seminole State College. In this capacity, she advises students on academic achievement, professional etiquette, and networking opportunities. This past year, over 40 PBL students competed in state-level academic competitions, and the students scored in the top ranks, promoting 9 of them to represent the State of Florida at the National PBL level!
