Eight faculty finalists for the 2014 Endowed Teaching Chair Awards have been announced by the Foundation for Seminole State College of Florida:
Endowed Teaching Chair Award candidates are nominated by their peers and screened by a committee of faculty and staff volunteers. On April 18, members of the Foundation Board of Directors will interview the finalists and select the honorees.
These eight faculty members were each recognized by their students and peers for the invaluable contributions they have made as an outstanding educator at Seminole State College. Four faculty members will be honored with $5,000 Endowed Teaching Chair Awards during the College's Spring 2014 Commencement Ceremony on Sunday, May 4.
