Seminole State College of Florida is ranked as one of the top 10 most affordable online colleges in Florida, according to a new ranking.
Seminole State ranked No. 8 in Affordable Colleges Online’s “Online Colleges in Florida That Win on Affordability” rankings, the highest ranking among Central Florida institutions.
Seminole State, which has frozen tuition and fees for the majority of its students for the past two years, has an annual cost of $3,131 for full-time students (30/credit hours/in-state). More than 6,100 students annually take online classes at Seminole State, making it the College’s second largest campus.

In addition, the College offers 33 online certificate programs in areas such as business, criminal justice, health care information technology and child care management.
According to Affordable Colleges Online, the combination of quality, affordability, and flexibility earned Seminole State College its place in the list a place on the list. AffordableCollegesOnline.org analyzed online degree programs 397 accredited public and private colleges and universities across Florida.
