Seminole State College of Florida is concluding its 2013-14 season by showcasing the talents of its art students during the 45th annual Juried Student Art Exhibit in the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus Fine Arts Gallery (building G), starting with an opening reception on Thursday, April 17, at 5 p.m.
The exhibit, which runs through noon on May 15, is a group show, featuring a juried selection of work executed over the past year by Seminole State Fine Arts students. Media include photography, painting, printmaking, drawing, 2D and 3D design, ceramics and sculpture.
The gallery is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and also during music and theater performances. All gallery exhibits are free and open to the public.

Dr. Hakeem Oluseyi, a regular on Discovery Network, Science Channel and National Geographic, will present the topic, “Reach for the Stars, No Matter What the Odds.” This free event will be held on Wednesday, April 5, from 7 - 9 p.m. in the Fine Arts Concert Hall (building G) at the College’s Sanford/Lake Mary Campus.Read More »
