Seminole State College will welcome more than 1,200 high school seniors on Friday, Feb. 21, for Decision Day, a free event for Seminole County high school students who have expressed an interest in attending Seminole State.
Students from all of Seminole County's public, private and virtual high schools, as well as local home-schooled seniors, will converge on Seminole State’s Sanford/Lake Mary Campus between 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
“Decision Day is an opportunity for the students to learn about the differences between high school and college in terms of schedules and credit hours,” says Pamela Mennechey, associate vice president, Recruitment and Enrollment. “It’s also a great opportunity to learn about the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and about all the different scholarships we have to offer.”
