Ad campaign wins two regional marketing awards

The College's "Go State" ads were part of a multichannel campaign that included TV, billboards, print ads, social media and the Web.

Seminole State College of Florida’s College Relations and Marketing Department has won two district awards for its "Go State" campaign from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations:

  • A silver award in the “Video Advertisement, PSA, Series” category for a series of TV commercials highlighting the College. The ads were filmed at Seminole State and feature students, faculty and staff.
  • A bronze award in the “Print Advertising, Series” category for ads that featured prominent Seminole State alumni.

The commercials and ads were part of a multichannel Go State campaign that included elements for television, billboards, print ads, social media and the Web.

The Medallion Awards honor excellence among marketing and public relations professionals at state and community colleges. This year's winners were announced at the fall NCMPR District 2 conference held Oct. 21-24 in Hilton Head, S.C. Seminole State competed against colleges from 11 Southeastern states.

You can view the commercials on Seminole State’s website.
