LYNX changes affect Seminole State

The Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX) has announced new service to Seminole State College's Center for Economic Development at Heathrow.

Beginning on Monday, Dec. 7, LYNX Link 45 in Lake Mary will extend service west to serve Seminole State's Heathrow Campus off International Parkway and will provide a connection between the College's Heathrow and Sanford/Lake Mary campuses.

LYNX bus service Link 45 will stop in the Heathrow Campus parking lot. Service will be available hourly from 5:57 a.m.-7:57 p.m. Monday-Friday, and from 6:27 a.m.-7:27 p.m. on Saturdays.

Also, the Oviedo Campus will receive new service from LYNX PickUpLine (PUL) 622. PUL service operates via shuttle and requires a reservation at least two hours prior to travel. To make a reservation, call 866.204.2976.

PUL 622 is based outside the Oviedo Marketplace and provides service for the area east of Alafaya Trail, primarily in Oviedo. LYNX will discontinue service from Link 47, which currently serves that area.

All changes became effective Sunday, Dec. 6.

Seminole State's Sanford/Lake Mary Campus will continue to be served by Link 103.

For more information, please visit the LYNX Web site or call 407.841.5969.
