Human Resources' Learning Connection has partnered with the Legal Studies Program to offer the Law for Lunch Bunch, a new lunch time learning program.
During these sessions, a panel of experts will discuss pertinent legal issues and answer questions from the audience. The first Law for Lunch Bunch on June 9 focused on the new Arizona immigration law and featured a panel of four guest attorneys, speaking for and against the law. Dr. Jordan Camenker, professor of Business and Legal Studies, facilitated the discussion.
The Legal Studies Program plans to offer these thought-provoking sessions several times throughout the year. Law for Lunch Bunch is held on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus. Sessions are scheduled for the following dates:
This informal, brown bag program is open to faculty, staff and students. Professional development credit will be available for those who are eligible.
