Luncheon honors Seminole State faculty and staff

Employees celebrate their 15-year milestone on April 9.

Seminole State College held its inaugural Service Recognition and Retiree Luncheon on Friday, April 9, at the Heathrow Country Club.

This event combined recognition of employees who have reached service milestones with a celebration of upcoming retirements. The Heathrow gathering marked the first time these celebrations have been held off campus. The honorees received framed recognition certificates and a Seminole State College photo frame. The retirees received a Seminole State photo frame and a glass recognition plaque.

Seminole State receives 4th consecutive national award for excellence in diversity and inclusionSeminole State College of Florida is one of only five Florida colleges and universities honored with a Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award from INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine, the oldest and largest diversity-focused publication in higher education.
