Seminole State launches new 'GO' marketing campaign

Seminole State's new Go Campaign logo reflects the campaign as a natural extension of previous branding, which featured Go State. Go Far. 

On April 18, Seminole State College of Florida unveiled its new marketing campaign, titled “GO”, for the upcoming academic year. The campaign, which includes digital, outdoor, television and radio advertising and more, was created by local creative agency, Say It Loud.

Seminole State College believes in the limitless future that beholds its student population and the GO Campaign celebrates this spirit. The campaign launched with not only traditional advertising elements but also includes integrated marketing tactics such as, social media, direct mail and corporate partnerships.

“We loved the aspirational message of ‘GO,’ and it was a natural extension of last year’s campaign, which featured Go State. Go Far.,” said Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Communications Kate Henry. “Through our truly integrated marketing approach to this campaign, we present a very strong and motivating message to our current and future students. The campaign, which features students, faculty and staff promotes the College and our wide range of degrees and programs, including business, engineering technology, IT, DirectConnect to UCF and Seminole State Online.”

The aspirational marketing campaign targeted toward current and prospective students launched via various channels including, television, radio, billboards, car magnets, banners, print advertisements, apparel, a standardized email signature for employees and a giveaway featuring the campaign's logo. On-campus brand activation blanketing the school’s four campuses will remind students, faculty, staff and visitors of the inspiring message and serve as a strong brand identity for Seminole State for the coming academic year and beyond.    

The GO Campaign highlights many aspects of Seminole State’s 200-plus programs and resonated with focus groups during the development phase. The campaign’s messaging is extremely flexible and can be interwoven with new touch points and larger campus strategies as these evolve.
