Update (Dec. 9):Renovation efforts for the next week will focus the parking lot outside of building B. After that, work will begin on the bus loop, as well as the faculty/staff lots outside buildings C, E and S. On the Altamonte Springs and Oviedo campuses, sealing and striping will take place on all lots during the week of Dec. 13. Please see the chart below for more details. In addition to the parking lots and roadways, work also will take place during the weeks of Dec. 13 and 20 on the interior of building G (Sanford/Lake Mary) and in the Oviedo Campus Testing and Cashiers offices.
Seminole State College will be making upgrades and improvements on several parking lots and roadways through the Fall Term.
The $2.5 million project includes upgrades to parking lots on all four campuses as well as construction of a new loop road and sidewalk enhancements at the Oviedo Campus.
The Office of Safety and Security reminds students to continue to follow College parking regulations whenever possible; however, parking citations will not be issued in affected areas.
You will be informed of upcoming closures via monthly emails from the Facilities Department. You can also check updates to this article for the latest information.
The construction schedule for December affects the following areas:

Access to the bus loop and visitor/staff parking outside building A may be limited; the Lynx bus will instead stop at the South parking lot south of the pond.
The parking lots west of buildings C, E and S will be closed. Faculty and staff may park in student/visitor parking outside building C and AT.
Altamonte Springs Campus: Begin sealcoat and striping on overflow parking lot, then main lot.
|Work will begin first on the overflow parking lot (Dec. 14-15), then move to the main lot (Dec. 16-17). Students, visitors and staff pay park in other portions of the lots.|
Oviedo Campus: Begin sealcoat and striping in all parking lots.

Oviedo Campus: Continue work on the front parking lot on the north side of campus.
