2015 United Way campaign kickoffs this month

Every day, Seminole State’s faculty and staff demonstrate the College’s mantra, “We Change Lives,” through all that they do for students.

Changing lives reaches beyond providing positive learning experiences in our classrooms; it extends into the neighborhoods where our students and their families live, work and play. We know that our faculty and staff have a significant, positive impact on their future.

Another agency that changes lives is the Heart of Florida United Way. As a partner of Seminole State College, they support programs that directly help our students and employees overcome daily challenges.

Last year, through your generosity, the College exceeded its goal for helping the Heart of Florida United Way. This year, you can help touch even more lives! More information about what you can do to help will be available in mid-March.

If you are interested in participating, attend one of the 2015 United Way Kickoff Events:

  • Altamonte Springs Campus: Monday, March 23, 1:30-2:30 p.m. in ALT-346
  • Oviedo Campus: Tuesday, March 24, 1:30-2:30 p.m. in OVF-100
  • Heathrow Campus: Wednesday, March 25, 8:30-9:30 a.m. in HEA-138
  • Sanford/Lake Mary Campus: Thursday, March 26, 1:30-2:30 p.m. in the Board Room (A-200)

Mark your calendars now to attend one of these events. Light refreshments will be served and prizes will be awarded. You also can earn professional development credit. Please register on the Learning Connection Sign-Me-Up calendar.
