Female golfers of all skill levels improved their game during Seminole State's Women's Golf Learning Day on Monday, Feb. 1.
The half-day clinic, held at Timacuan Golf and Country Club, gave players hands-on training from LPGA instructors and the Seminole State Raider women's golf team.
Participants rotated through a series of stations that focused on putting, driving, chipping and other fundamental techniques.
The event, which drew more than 30 women, raised $3,000 for the Raider women's golf team and the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Club.
Nearly $145,000 in scholarships for Fall Term 2017 is available for qualified students through the Foundation for Seminole State College. The deadline for students to apply is 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, July 15.Read More »
