Travel Study Resources for Faculty

Leading/Planning a Travel Study Program

Faculty Opportunities

Full-time Seminole State faculty members who are interested in traveling abroad may apply to become a Travel Study leader. Travel Study leaders are responsible for organizing and executing a Travel Study Program in collaboration with the Coordinator for Education Abroad and Student Exchange.

Travel Study Co-Leaders

Travel Study co-leaders are selected by the trip leader as needed to assist with recruitment, fundraising and logistics throughout the planning and implementation process. Only full-time faculty members are eligible to serve as co-leaders.

Please note: Co-leaders may travel at a reduced cost or no cost only if a predetermined number of participants enroll in the Travel Study Program. This number is established by the Center for Global Engagement.

Additional International Opportunities for Faculty

Teach in China

In June 2017, Seminole State worked with JNC, our partners in China, to launch two summer programs in Beijing and Shanghai. Twenty-three faculty members from Seminole State traveled to China, where they spent five weeks teaching and living in either Beijing or Shanghai. This program will be available to faculty in summer 2018. Interested faculty members should email AnneLiese Busch, director of the Center for Global Engagement, for more information.
