Student Achievement Data

The mission of Seminole State’s interior design program is to prepare students for the professional industry by providing knowledge and skills to solve a variety of design problems with the core value of protecting the health, safety, and welfare of the public.

The following data was collected annually, using Institutional Recordsan alumni network through LinkedIn, and self-reporting from students.

Graduation Rates:

Full time students take approximately 12-15 credits per semester (including fall, spring, and summer), and part-time students take approximately 6-9 credits per semester.  There are separate and distinct pathways to enter the B.A.S. degree.  Please note that the bachelor’s degree includes six studio courses, which may not be taken concurrently.  Therefore, the average number of semesters to complete the bachelor’s degree will vary greatly.

The second route is for students with previously completed college degree’s (AA or higher), who typically do not need general education courses. This alternative pathway is 75 total credits.

  • Of the students graduating in 2022 – 2023 academic year, the median number of semesters to complete the bachelor’s degree through the alternative pathway (75 credits), at a full-time pace, attending fall, spring, and summer was 7 semesters.
