Margaret Scarbrough

A native Californian, Margaret has happily made Florida her home since 2010. Having worked in higher education for many years, she truly enjoys working with students every day and has a special affinity for helping first-time-in-college and first generation students successfully navigate the college experience. Margaret enjoys spending time with her family at home-gaming and watching movies-or outdoors near any body of water. 

Rachel Acosta, Specialist/Advisor

Rachel Acosta

A native Floridian, Rachel earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Central Florida as well as her master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Central Florida. She has primarily worked with first year students in Admissions, Recruiting, Orientation, Advising and Teaching. She especially enjoys assisting students with their transition into college and ensuring it’s a meaningful experience as she inspires students to always follow their dreams. Rachel loves traveling—attending theme parks, concerts, sports games, and taking adventures with her dog.
