For the Fall Term 2020, we are offering online and remote courses.  Remote courses show a day and time, and will meet virtually via live video. A limited number of labs, math, nursing, public safety programs, performing arts, automotive, HVAC, plumbing, and some language courses will resume on campus and are notated in the course schedule.


CTS2343C Windows Server 2008 Applications Infrastructure (Exam 70-643)

This course provides students with an understanding of migrating and deploying Windows Server 2008, including installation, configuration and upgrading. Special emphasis is given to upgrading common server configurations and using the Windows Server Deployment Solution Accelerator. Students will also learn to install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot an Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0 Web server in Windows Server 2008. Finally, students will be provided with the knowledge and skills to configure, manage, monitor and troubleshoot a Terminal Services (TS) environment. The course focuses on configuring of TS core functionality, licensing, gateway and Web access. Lab fee required.

Prerequisite: CET 1179.
