A 24-hour workshop on basic homicide investigations to include scene response, manpower issues, scene security, evidence considerations, and legal issues. This short course will introduce the patrol officer, patrol supervisor, and new investigator to a basic understanding of the homicide scene. The course material is taken from known expert sources, published works, and field experience.
