This course is designed to reinforce and build upon basic ballet techniques. There is an emphasis on body alignment and effective methods for gaining strength and flexibility necessary for proper ballet deportment. It includes the barre, the center floor and the basic elements of the classical ballet vocabulary. The history of ballet will also be included in this course.
Prerequisite: DAA 1200.
