The purpose of this course is to emphasize critical thinking involving the discovery of relationships and their proofs and skill in applying the deductive method to mathematical situations. Topics shall include, but not be limited to, logic and reasoning, the study of Euclidean geometry of lines, planes, angles, triangles, similarity, congruence, geometric inequalities, polygons and circles, area and volume and constructions.
Prerequisites: AHS 1200310 or AHS 1200370 and AHS 1200380 with a grade of "C" or higher.
