Would you enjoy the convenience of studying for the GED® test on your own time from anywhere you have internet access? We offer convenient, low-cost GED® Prep Online classes to fit the scheduling needs of our busy students. Tuition is only $30 per semester. New students must be 18 years old before the end of their first semester. See the Academic Foundations calendar for semester dates. You can view or download our GED® Prep brochure. Please see below for steps on how to apply and other program information.
- To apply to our GED® Prep Online program, please complete the five steps to get started as seen on our GED® Prep admissions page. Please note that GED® Prep Online students must apply and register at the Sanford/Lake Mary adult education advising office in building B, room 113.
- In order to participate in GED® Prep Online, students must have reliable Internet access and regular access to a computer with a printer. Students will have access to study materials through our online course system.
- Supplementary study assistance for GED® Prep Online students will be available at no extra cost via telephone, email or in person with a course instructor. Regular, subject-specific workshops are available for GED® Prep Online students who need additional help.

Orientation is mandatory for all new GED® Prep Online students. You must complete the application process, TABE testing and registration before attending orientation. New GED® Prep Online students who do not attend orientation will be dropped from their classes. At orientation, we will answer any questions, provide an overview of the program, review your test scores and estimate when you will be ready for the GED® Test. Please note that there are separate orientations for GED® Prep in-person courses and GED® Prep Online courses.
