The Make-Up Testing Center
Occasionally, circumstances arise that may force you to miss a scheduled test. When this happens, arrangements can be made with your instructor to take the missed exam at Seminole State's Make-up Testing Center.
The Make-up Testing Center provides make-up exams for students who are unable to take a scheduled classroom test for one of the following reasons:
- A personal, family, work or medical emergency
- A documented disability identified by Disability Support Services
Note: Only Seminole State faculty members can authorize a make-up exam. Speak with your instructor before scheduling a make-up test.
Testing Rules
The College has established certain rules to make the most effective use of existing resources. The following make-up testing rules must be observed at all times:
- The Make-up Testing Center will not test an entire class.
- You must work with your instructor to arrange a make-up test immediately after the scheduled exam is administered to your classmates.
- You must schedule your make-up testing appointment in advance. Repeated rescheduling of appointments is not permitted.
- You must take your make-up test within five business days of the date it reaches the Make-up Testing Center.
- You must arrive to the Make-up Testing Center at least 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. The system will not allow you to test if you are even one minute late.
Testing Hours
There are limited hours for testing services. Make-up testing can only be guaranteed during the Make-up Testing Center's regularly scheduled hours. Tests will not be administered after the Make-up Testing Center's published exam end times.

- You must use the online system to schedule a make-up testing appointment.* Appointments cannot be made by phone, e-mail or in person. The system will prompt you to fill in your location and test session date/time. * While most students can use the TeCo online scheduling system independently, help is available at the Assessment and Testing Center. Please try using the online system on your own before seeking help.
