Who should take the GED exam?You should take the GED exam if you are 18 years of age or older and need a high school diploma. If you are under the age of 18 and live in Seminole County, you must attend underage GED classes before you may take the exam. If you pass all five subtests, you will earn a high school equivalency diploma from the Florida Department of Education. How do I sign up for the GED Exam?You can register for the GED exam by attending one of the registration and orientation sessions listed at the bottom of the page. Each session is approximately two hours long. You must bring a valid Florida driver's license or identification card as well as a valid Social Security card for verification.
