Professional Testing and Certification Center

Certifications are quickly becoming a requirement for those entering the technology field. They show employers that you have the knowledge and skills they need. Certifications are also a way to separate yourself from other job candidates.

To meet this demand, Seminole State College offers affordable, high-quality professional certification programs and the new Seminole State Professional Testing and Certification Center.

The Center allows students as well as business and community members to take certification exams in more than 100 areas, including:

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, and HTI+
  • Novell CNA and CNE
  • Microsoft MCP and MCSE
  • Oracle certifications
  • Computer Adaptive Test -- College-Level Academic Skills Test (CAT-CLAST; the essay portion is not offered on this computer version of CLAST)

The Seminole State Professional Testing and Certification Center is located in room A-107 on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus. Click here for available testing hours.

What Is the Fee for the Professional Testing and Certification Exam?

  • Career Test Battery*: $50
  • CJ-BAT*: $40
  • Correspondence*: $35
  • TEAS (online)*: $40 (replaces the Nurse Entrance Test)
  • TEAS (non-Seminole State students)*: $50
