Sanford/Lake Mary Campus Student Affairs Redesign

To better serve students, Student Affairs in building A on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus has a new design that allows students to enjoy an enhanced model of service, in which student success specialists assist students from when they first inquire about the College through graduation, all from one area. This enhanced model of service has been used successfully for several years at Seminole State's other campuses. 

Student Success Specialists

A student success specialist is the first point of contact to assist and guide students. Specialists are cross-trained to help every student with the majority of transactions, including:

• Admissions
  
• Basic Advising Services*
  
• Financial aid
  
• Registration and Records
  
• Transcript Requests
  

*Student success specialists can provide general information related to academic advising (i.e. how to look up courses, where to find your advisement report, how to change your program plan, etc.). For specific information and assistance, visit Academic Advising and Counseling to speak to an advisor.
