Students who Speak English as a Second Language

• English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL): ESOL is a free non-credit program that prepares adult speakers of other languages to communicate effectively in English through comprehensive language instruction and college preparation programs.
• EAP (English for Academic Purposes): College-level EAP courses in reading, writing and communication skills help adults who speak English as a second language succeed in a college/university setting.

Adult Education

• Adult Basic Education (ABE)/General Education Development (GED): These courses prepare students to take the GED exam.
