Student Engagement Team
The Student Engagement Team (S.E.T.) is a group of student leaders dedicated to making the college experience for all Seminole State students engaging, memorable and fun. There is a Student Engagement Team on each campus. S.E.T. plans events, such as the Club Recruitment Fair and Diversity Fair, and hires entertainers for students' enjoyment. Students gain valuable career experience in marketing, event planning, higher education, finance, public relations, social media, graphic design and much more! They also get to meet the entertainers and vendors who come to campus as well as network with other college engagement teams at the National Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities Conference. “Being a part of the 2012-2013 Student Engagement Team was extremely exciting. We were able to bring entertainment, awareness and education to the students of the school. Accountability and responsibility were two of the things that this experience gave me. Entertainment, learning experiences, awareness and many other aspects that went into the events helped us bring the Life out of Student Life. After planning the events, I felt accomplished when watching students having fun and participating in the activities. Applications for 2012-13 are now closed, but you can still be a part of the Student Engagement Team as a committee member or volunteer.
