Sigma Phi Gamma

Sigma Phi Gamma (SPG) is an on-campus club that gives students a place to make new friends, opportunities to participate in rewarding community service events and a chance for a more rewarding college experience.

Sigma Phi Gamma meets on Mondays, at 2 p.m., in room C-101, on Seminole State's Sanford/Lake Mary Campus.

Why Join Sigma Phi Gamma?

Many students enter a community college thinking that they cannot get a genuine university experience while they are studying there. Seminole State College works to prove them wrong by maximizing student opportunities on campus. With SPG, students can feel comfortable about themselves in a group of like-minded individuals who enjoy being around others with similar interests, while working to improve our community.

Members of Sigma Phi Gamma have a lot of fun together outside of school. Once a month we meet for "SPG Love Nights," where members hang out together and enjoy:

  • Movie and bowling nights.
  • Trips to Wet 'n' Wild.
  • Go-kart racing.
  • Beach outings.
We invite you to experience a meeting, participate in an activity or just hang out and have a good time with us at Sigma Phi Gamma.

How It All Began

In 1998, a group of Seminole State students, created Sigma Phi Gamma, an organization that plans social events and brings students of all backgrounds together to have fun. Since then, SPG has evolved into an official club that now consists of members who want to give back to our community and have fun in a laid-back atmosphere.
